My very first bad day

One of the earliest of the bad day’s that I remember having was when I was almost 3. Crawling n a bed (which was without a mattress, because of the fact that we were moving out) I went over the edge, head first. Now my parents always thought that it was the steel hook attached to the orner of the bed, meant to hold the mosquito rods, that cut open my forehead, but actually, it was the sheer force of the fall that caused the cut on my forehead. When my mum carried me out, the elevator took way too long to come up and so she rushed me down the stairs with me in her arms, and in the process she twisted her ankle. The next scene that I remember is that of me laying down in a dingy room, with a light just a light over my head, n a doc doing something to my forehead. I (being just a kid) was crying, n the doc told me he’d give me a lollypop of I stopped crying. And so, after that I didn’t make a peep, even though (I am sure) it did hurt. After he was through, I just can’t remember the doc giving me a lollypop (A lesson for kids to learn at an early age... Don’t trust strangers). Oh! n I forgot to mention, I got two stitches that day. It is pretty amazing that I can recollect so many thought from when I was 2. I mean I still remember the house I lived in till I was 3 (I even remember where every piece of furniture was placed). I remember walking to my sister’s school with my maid to give her lunch. I still remember that I saw Rajiv Gandhi when I was 2. I remember all the bad things I did as a kid, like turning on the TV volume to full n hiding under the bed, waiting for my mom to come and turn the TV off. It is sorta creepy to remember so much, u know. Stuff that I needn’t n probably even shouldn’t remember. But this is how I am.
Ciao.

Introduction

Okay... I think the name of this blog is quite self-explanatory. It’s simply a log of all the bad days that I have had. I have this really whacky memory, and I remember most of the bad days that I have had. You’d say what so great about a good memory??? Well it has its advantages, like the other day when someone suggested me this book, I remembered the only copy of it I had ever seen. It was about two ago on a train journey. And for the record, its not that I had a conversation about it then or something, I just caught a glimpse of the book before that person reading it, kept it aside (Now you know what I meant when I said I have a whacky memory) Having such a wacky memory has turned out to having a downside to it too. More often than never, I am reminded of few of the worst days I have had. So these are the day’s I am going to write about here.
